dc.description.abstractVisiting foreign countries for the first time is a confusing situation for many people, especially young students who do not have much experience on how to cope with such situations. International students usually need help when they visit their study locations or workplaces to discover or explore locations at their university. They also need assistance visiting important places upon their arrival and organizing their schedules. This project introduces a student guide mobile application that aims to assist international students at Newcastle university, providing them with features to facilitate many of their everyday activities at the university. The app is developed to run on Android devices. It has been tested under several conditions. The results indicate the usability of the app. Furthermore, to validate the app, several evaluation criteria are carried out and showed excellent performance and gain high popularity till now. The app also is accepted by Google and published on Google play store. On the other hand, Saudi club offered an acceptance to further improve the app features.
