Abstract

A considerable number of studies have identified the increase of mental health problems in the general population and in young people specifically. Economic costs associated with mental health illness are high and predicted to increase in the United Kingdom (UK). Despite the significant rate of mental health problems, there is a lack of evidence-based interventions that explicitly target this group.
