The Leeds Institute for Data Analytics (LIDA) and the University of Leeds are working together to develop a new Microsoft Azure platform for health and other forms of data research. Projects will be charged for their use, and those expenses must be included in their study applications. As a result, a cost model may be required. This study presents a method to estimate the cost of using cloud services to support research projects. To begin, we have gathered three synthetic datasets using python programming: the first dataset size (1,000), the second dataset size (5,000), and the third dataset size (10,000). All three datasets were required by the researcher and then, the data were understood and analysed. Finally, we applied four machine learning algorithms: KNN, SVM, LR, and RF.
