Abstract

Mobilisation with movement technique was the most significant effective form of manual therapy in treating rotator cuff related shoulder pain. Maitland’s mobilisation efficacy is equal to the efficacy of other modalities such as neuromuscular electrical stimulation, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and cryotherapy. Combining manual therapy with therapeutic exercise is more efficient than applying manual therapy alone.
