Microbial escape mechanisms from phagocytic killing- Bartonella henselae
Abstract
B. henselae has unknown yet strategies to delay and/or manipulate the host endocytic pathway after entry of endothelial cells and macrophages . However, there were positive outcomes answering the levels of acidity, aiding to understand the behaviour of B. henselae. It needs to be looked at in more detail with more different time points. In addition, more pH sensors have to be done in measurement of pH changes within BCVs in order to get more reliable information from different dyes.
