Abstract
The inflation rate, or the rate of rise in the general level of prices, represents one of the most important macroeconomic indicators around which the process of formulating macroeconomic policies revolves. Such policies usually aim to achieve economic stability. The inflation rate can be considered among the economic indicators that carry direct political connotations due to its direct repercussions on Purchasing power, the well-being of consumers, the spending and saving pattern of families and companies, and the movement of the inflation rate affect investment ratios and rates due to their connection to .the impact on the incomes and returns of investment operations On the other hand, monetary policy represents the tool by which the objectives of economic policy are implemented and achieved, through which it can be said that controlling monetary policy helps control many economic indicators related to the circumstances and conditions of the currency internally, such as the inflation rate, and externally, such as the exchange rate.
