This dissertation explores the influence of green logistics practices on IKEA’s supply chain performance with a focus on operational efficiency and economic outcomes. Quantitative research design was employeed and data was gathered through a structured questionnaire distributed to IKEA employees engaged in logistics and supply chain roles. The findings reveal a high level of awareness and adoption of green logistics practices at IKEA. However, the perceived impact on operational efficiency and economic performance is moderate. The study identifies key areas for enhancement particularly in the cost-effectiveness and strategic integration of these practices with IKEA's broader sustainability objectives. Overall, IKEA demonstrates considerable progress in implementing green logistics but the research underscores the need for ongoing refinement to maximize their benefits.
