dc.description.abstractThis study investigated the impact the Saudi Vision 2030 has on the field of event management in Saudi Arabia focusing on Riyadh events as Riyadh includes the biggest tourism events in Saudi Arabia. It also aimed to identify the perception of Saudi Vision 2030 objectives and its impact on the sector of event management. To do so, the researcher used a mixed methodology and employed the descriptive and inferential analytical approach based on survey and interviews as tools for the study. The sample of the study consisted of 175 individuals, who are engaged in the Saudi events in Riyadh. The study found that there is positive perception of Saudi Vision 2030 and its objectives as well as its impact on event management in Saudi Arabia. A strong positive relationship was also found between the Saudi vision 2030 and the positive changes that were noted in event management in Saudi Arabia. In light of the study findings, the researcher recommended conducting further studies in related to the topic of the study. It was also recommended to raise the awareness of the ordinary people and those who are concerned in tourism and event management of the importance of Saudi Vision 2030 for improving the economy of the country in general and event management sector in particular. Finally, benefitting and making use of other experiences was also recommended.
