| dc.description.abstract | This paper discusses the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) in video games from a player perspective, shedding light on several AI features in video games. In addition, it focusses on the difference between academic researchers and game developers in relation to AI in video game development. Since players are considered an asset to the growth of the video game industry, the author investigates the lack of discussion of their role in this discourse on the part of both academic researchers and game developers. Moreover, this paper puts forward a video project, where the audience is introduced to a 12:43 minute long video explaining the impact of AI in video games and encouraging the audience to participate in a discussion by giving their feedback. | |
