This study was to investigate the effect FLA had on the performance of these students especially on their oral performance. Apparently, the FLA has three related aspects which have noticed during the students’ performance: communication apprehension, fear of test, and fear of negative evaluation. Two methods of data collection were applied namely: Questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. The questionnaires were made available online for both financial and privacy reasons. Interviews were held over zoom and Skype platforms.
