saudi Cinema history and industry as it shows in filmmaking Films

Abstract

This study is about the cinema in Saudi Arabia through the eyes of filmmakers and their production process in regard to filmmaking films by following the history of Saudi cinema from the beginning and discussing what kept it dormant for such a long time until it was reactive again. I will use reflexivity, nostalgia and identity to analyze the samples in terms of how the Saudi society views cinema and filmmaking. The study will use a mode of production to measure where the Saudi film industry has now positioned itself, regarding its film production since they are considered pioneering films in the era of contemporary Saudi cinema by analyses funding, acting, location and language.
