Abstract
The purpose of the current study was to investigate the effectiveness of using
intensive and extensive reading skills on the reading comprehension and
vocabulary learning sub-skills of EFL prep-year students in Taibah University.
The study sample consisted of 89 Saudi female prep-year students around 18
and 19 years old, enrolled during the 2012-2013 academic year in Taibah
