The dynamic form of a tall building is an important element to help reduce wind pressure on the building and thus reduce wind effects. There are many different forms and modifications to the shape of a building that help solve or mitigate wind issues and make the high-rise building windproof. However, the percentage of performance differs in wind resistance according to the form of the building. In this research, the effect of the form of high-rise buildings in reducing wind loads was investigated. This was achieved by conducting Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations for three case studies: The Shard in London, Taipei 101 in Taiwan and 432 Park Avenue in New York.
