The research aims to examine data privacy laws, regulations, and practices in Saudi Vision 2030 digital transformation programs. A comprehensive survey and analysis of responses from companies in smart cities, healthcare, education, and government services is done, which helps the study better understand data privacy compliance and protection. The impact of legal frameworks on digital transformation programs, the risks and vulnerabilities of different forms of sensitive data, the necessity of industry standards and best practices, and the efficiency of vendor contracts are discussed. The findings show that organizations must avoid risks and safeguard sensitive data and that data privacy requirements are challenging to comply with. For policymakers, corporate leaders, and practitioners involved in digital transformation, the study is significant. It illuminates how to improve data privacy, cybersecurity, and external contractor duty. Keywords: Data privacy, Digital transformation, Saudi Vision 2030, Regulatory compliance, Cybersecurity.
