Abstract

As the world’s population has increased, so has the demand for seafood products, with aquaculture producing almost 45% of the world's fish as food for humans to meet these demands and ensure the sustainability of fish. However, aquaculture has not narrowed the gap between supply and demand, and it has resulted in many problematic environmental issues.
