Modern industry will be revolutionized by smart grid technology, which will provide innovative ways to improve the efficiency of current electric grids. It's a digital communications-based energy distribution network. A rise in demand for energy has resulted in an increase in electricity difficulties such blackouts, overloads, and voltage drop, as well as significant carbon emissions from the present electrical network expanding and dealing with cyber-attacks first. Nevertheless, the Smart Grid technology is born with weaknesses and difficulties, particularly in terms of information security, which is the most critical issue. This study examined the threats and assesses the risk of smart grids based on the Internet of Things. We concentrate on the many kinds of cyber-attacks and offer detailed analysis. And provide cyber-security status of the smart grids.
