This dissertation investigates the influence of the Netflix platform on the interests of Saudi women within the evolving societal landscape of Saudi Arabia. As digital media redefines cultural dynamics, this study examines how exposure to diverse narratives on Netflix impacts decision-making, self-image development, and overall interests among Saudi women. Through a comprehensive analysis, encompassing a firsthand qualitative research method, this research evaluates the transformative potential of digital streaming on women's lives. The study interviewed seven Saudi Arabian Women from Eastern Saudi Arabia on the various impacts that the easy and available access to Netflix has had on them. The findings hold that despite the access to a wide range of global content, Saudi Arabian women remained steadfast in their cultural and religious values. While Netflix content might challenge conventional norms, the respondents held fast to their identity, and any change in interests was more aligned with socio-economic pursuits rather than cultural or political shifts.
