Abstract

With the economic revolution and 2030 Vision in Saudi Arabia, which aims to reduce its reliance on oil and invest in young people. And the considerable interest in education by adopting different projects to develop education in the goals of the 2030 Vision. Cooperative learning is essential to prepare students for future jobs and life as 2030 Vision aiming. In this study, I seek to explore the relationship between cooperative learning and student leadership, the structures in Saudi Arabia that enable cooperative learning to take place, and the implications of these teaching methods for teachers and school leaders. Firstly, I did literature-based research revealing how cooperative learning is considered an element of student leadership. In addition, I did a policy analysis of the 2030 Vision and a case study called Tatweer, which presents the structures in Saudi Arabia that enhance cooperative learning. Finally, I explained the implications of cooperative learning for teachers and school leaders.
