This dissertation investigates the impact of international events in boosting the tourist industry in Saudi Arabia, with a special emphasis on the NEOM project, per the tourist aims of Saudi Vision 2030. The study explores the perspectives of visitors who participated in international gatherings at NEOM using an interpretivist philosophical approach. 128 people participated in the survey research methodology, which produced statistical data on demographics, knowledge, and opinions. According to the results, NEOM's unique qualities, including smart cities along with innovative technology, as well as historical and cultural attractions have a significant part in attracting tourists. In creating their opinions of NEOM, respondents underlined the importance of sustainable practices, cultural variety, and unique experiences. The report emphasizes the importance of international events in changing opinions, stimulating economic progress, and helping to boost Saudi Arabia's position on the worldwide stage. The study supports prior research by underlining the significance of social media, holistic promotional techniques, as well as sustainable development in contemporary tourism. The suggestions include enhancing sustainable projects, creating cross-cultural programs, and refining social media advertising. Despite its accomplishments, the study recognizes constraints in scope and technique, pointing to future research directions. This dissertation emphasizes the critical significance that global events, like the NEOM project, have in boosting Saudi Arabia's tourism sector. The country may advertise itself as an attractive and unique tourist destination by utilizing environmentally friendly policies and innovative techniques, helping to realize the tourism goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
