Resilience and Future readiness, and Women Empowerment: A qualitative study on Organisation with Saudi Arabia
Abstract
Change might lead to negative consequences when there is a resistance to change, hence, empowering women with organisations might be countered with a resistant to change within Saudi organisations due to the male dominant nature within Saudi society. As a result, change might lead to adverse consequences on the performance of the organisation. As stated by Botha (2018), a strategy of change used by organisations ought to be actualized orderly to accomplish organisational objective in change (i.e. empowering women), which alludes to preparation being more important than the change models that are suggested in the literature. Therefore, individuals within the organisation need to concur on a positive future-readiness and have the eagerness to change for any model to succeed.
Based on the studied literature, there are several steps that can be followed by Saudi organisations to increase their resilience and future readiness towards women empowering.
