This dissertation explores the dynamic interplay between international arbitration and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's legal framework. By examining Saudi Arabia's historical and contemporary arbitration practices, the study sheds light on the nation's evolving legal landscape, emphasizing recent reforms and the potential challenges 5 posed by the intersection of local customs, Sharia law, and international arbitration norms. Key areas of focus include the enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in Saudi Arabia and the impact of the nation's socio-cultural and economic landscape on its arbitration procedures. The research seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities in harmonizing Saudi Arabian legal tenets with global arbitration practices, aiming to offer insights for future reform and collaboration in the field.
