dc.description.abstractThe dissertation provides an overview of the impact and importance of SMEs to the economy. Similarly, the dissertation showcase and analyses the innovation practices that impacted SMEs competition with larger firms globally. Thus, with the findings, the dissertation examine SMEs practices and performance in Saudi Arabia. The examination primarily focuses on the practices that impact the level of competition between SMEs and larger business in the country, and wether there are implantation of innovation by SMEs. Lastly, the dissertation asses if there are any successful innovative practices that can be implemented by SMEs in Saudi Arabia to increase the level of competitiveness with other larger business in the market.
