The impact of bilateral investment treaties on foreign direct investment in Saudi Arabia

Abstract

I aim to analyze the legal framework for FDI, covering the fair standards of FIL, the compliance of BITs and FDI with the guidelines specified by World Bank and facilitation of the legal as well as administrative aspects of foreign investment. I will therefore, review some FDI theories, with reference to divergence between Saudi Arabian legal system and the Foreign direct investment.
