This study measures the effect of financial resistance on financial stability in Saudi banks amid the structural transformations of Vision 2030 and global shocks. A descriptive–quantitative methodology was employed using longitudinal Panel Data models and standard indicators: Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non‑Performing Loans (NPL), Operational Efficiency (EFF), Loan Loss Provisions (LLP), together with Profitability Stability (SROA) and Liquidity Stability (SLIQ). Findings indicate a statistically significant impact of financial resistance on financial stability at the 5% significance level. Capital adequacy, asset quality, operational efficiency, and credit‑risk indicators exert notable effects on both profitability stability and liquidity stability. The results suggest that Saudi banks generally exhibit sound financial resistance, although asset quality and credit risk remain relatively more sensitive to economic fluctuations.1 0Item Restricted ECONOMICS OF PRIVATE MEDICAL INSURANCE AMONG MEDICAL LABORATORIES IN JORDAN: A CROSS-SECTIONAL STUDY(Saudi Digital Library, 2025) ALRuwaili, Bassam Mulawwah; Amawi, Kawther FaisalThis study aimed to evaluate the economic and operational impact of private medical insurance on medical laboratories in Jordan by examining the relationship between insurance providers and laboratories and its influence on service efficiency and financial sustainability. A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted using a structured questionnaire distributed to 264 medical laboratory specialists across different regions of Jordan. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS statistical software. The findings revealed that medical laboratories demonstrate a moderate dependence on private medical insurance, with 43.9% of respondents reporting that approximately half of their patients use private insurance for laboratory services. Nearly half of the laboratories submitted monthly insurance claims ranging between 1,000 and 3,000 Jordanian Dinars (JOD). However, a considerable proportion experienced reimbursement delays of 45–70 days, in addition to unpaid and rejected claims. The most common reasons for claim rejection were expired claim forms and incomplete or missing medical diagnoses. Furthermore, the majority of laboratories indicated that insurance companies impose financial approval thresholds before authorizing specific laboratory tests. The study concludes that the current relationship between private insurance companies and medical laboratories is hindered by financial and administrative challenges, including delayed reimbursements, inconsistent claim approvals, and the absence of standardized reimbursement procedures. These issues negatively affect laboratory performance, service quality, and the sustainability of diagnostic healthcare services. The study recommends implementing integrated electronic claim management systems, establishing national reimbursement and pricing standards, and strengthening collaboration among regulatory authorities, insurance companies, and medical laboratories to improve healthcare financing efficiency and ensure the long-term sustainability of diagnostic services in3 0Item Restricted A HYBIRD ANOMALY DETECTION MODEL FOR IDENTIFYING SUSPICIOUS AUTHENTICATION EVENTS IN USER BEHAVIOR LOGS(Saudi Digital Library, 2026) ALHARBI, FAISAL DKEEL R; Aljaidi, Mohammad HamadOrganizations increasingly depend on digital authentication systems to secure access to enterprise resources, making the early detection of suspicious authentication activities a critical cybersecurity challenge. Authentication and user behavior logs provide valuable evidence regarding login activities, including temporal patterns, device information, locations, session attributes, and access outcomes. These logs can reveal early indicators of credential compromise, unauthorized access, and malicious insider activities. However, conventional anomaly detection techniques often struggle to effectively model the temporal and contextual characteristics of authentication behavior, particularly in environments characterized by limited labeled data, behavioral drift, and complex log structures. This study proposes a hybrid anomaly detection model for identifying suspicious authentication events in user behavior logs. The proposed approach integrates a Transformer-based sequential encoder with unsupervised anomaly detection techniques to model user authentication behavior over time. The Transformer component captures long-term temporal dependencies and contextual relationships among authentication events, while the anomaly detection component identifies deviations from established behavioral patterns through reconstruction-based and density-based analysis. By combining sequential modeling with contextual event-level features, the proposed model aims to improve the detection of abnormal login activities. An experimental methodology was adopted involving data preprocessing, feature engineering, authentication session construction, and sequential behavioral modeling. Authentication logs were transformed into structured behavioral sequences to enable the learning of event-level contextual information and user behavioral dependencies across time. The proposed model was evaluated using standard anomaly detection metrics, including Precision, Recall, F1-score, and Area Under the Curve (AUC), and benchmarked against traditional and deep learning-based baseline methods. The experimental results demonstrated that the proposed hybrid model achieved superior performance compared with baseline approaches, attaining a Precision of 0.90, Recall of 0.86, F1-score of 0.88, and an AUC value of 0.93. The findings indicate that the proposed model effectively captures temporal and contextual authentication patterns, improves anomaly detection capability, and reduces false positive alerts compared with conventional methods. Furthermore, the integration of Transformer-based sequential learning with unsupervised anomaly detection enhanced the model’s ability to adapt to behavioral variations in authentication environments. This study contributes to the cybersecurity domain by providing a scalable, adaptive, and operationally feasible approach for identifying suspicious authentication activities and supporting early threat detection in enterprise systems. Traditional intrusion detection systems, particularly centralized and signature-based approaches, often struggle to detect previously unseen or zero-day attacks in dynamic IoT environments. This research proposes an autonomous Statistical–AI anomaly detection framework for edge-enabled IoT networks that combines lightweight statistical screening with a heterogeneous ensemble of one-class anomaly detection models trained exclusively on benign traffic. The framework integrates statistical Z-score analysis, Isolation Forest, One-Class SVM, Autoencoder, and PCA–Mahalanobis detection within a label-free fusion and adaptive threshold optimization mechanism designed for open-set intrusion detection. The proposed framework was evaluated using three benchmark datasets: TON_IoT, Edge-IIoTset, and UNSW-NB15. Experimental results demonstrated strong and stable detection capability across heterogeneous network environments. The framework achieved F1-scores of 0.7152 on UNSW-NB15, 0.9862 on TON_IoT, and 0.9979 on Edge-IIoTset, while maintaining high precision and low false positive rates. In addition, the framework demonstrated low inference latency ranging from 0.0852 ms/sample to 0.1657 ms/sample, confirming its suitability for real-time edge deployment. Zero-day evaluation experiments further showed strong generalization capability against previously unseen attack families, while the integrated drift detection module successfully identified injected distributional changes with zero detection delay across all datasets. Overall, the proposed framework provides a lightweight, scalable, and adaptive solution for anomaly-based intrusion detection in edge-enabled IoT environments without requiring labeled attack data during training.34 0Item Restricted THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN NURSING PRACTICE ENVIRONMENT, PSYCHOLOGICAL EMPOWERMENT, AND SAFETY ATTITUDES IN GOVERNMENTAL HOSPITALS IN THE NORTHERN REGION OF SAUDI ARABIA(Saudi Digital Library, 2026) Almofarej, Mazen; Alosta, mohammedThis study aims to examine the interrelationships between the nursing practice environment, psychological empowerment, and safety attitudes among nurses working in governmental hospitals in the northern region of Saudi Arabia, with a particular focus on identifying the extent to which these variables, along with selected sociodemographic and work-related characteristics, predict psychological empowerment and safety attitudes. A descriptive, cross-sectional, correlational research design was employed, targeting a convenience sample of 162 registered nurses working in four governmental hospitals. Data were collected between February and March 2026 using a structured, self-administered online questionnaire comprising four main components: sociodemographic and work-related variables; the Practice Environment Scale of the Nursing Work Index; the Psychological Empowerment Scale; and the Safety Attitudes Questionnaire. The results revealed that nurses perceived moderate levels of the nursing practice environment (M = 2.83, SD = 0.94), psychological empowerment (M = 3.39, SD = 1.30), and safety attitudes (M = 3.34, SD = 1.24). Significant positive correlations were found among all three variables, indicating that a more supportive work environment is associated with higher psychological empowerment and more positive safety attitudes. Regression analysis further showed that the nursing practice environment was the strongest predictor of both psychological empowerment and safety attitudes, while age, marital status, and monthly income also emerged as significant predictors6 0Item Restricted خلصت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أبرزها ثبوت وجود أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية لليقظة الاستراتيجية في تفعيل بيئة العمل الابتكارية بالشركة محل الدر اسة، مع وجود مستويات موافقة عالية لجميع أبعاد اليقظة الاستراتيجية وهي اليقظة التكنولوجية واليقظة التسويقية واليقظة التنافسية في شركة الاتصالات السعودية، وأوصت الدراسة باستثمار النتائج التي أثبتت التأثير القوي لليقظة التسويقية من خلال جعل صوت العميل مدخلاً إلزامياً في جلسات العصف الذهني وتطوير المنتجات الجديدة لضمان ابتكارات ذات قيمة تجارية .5 0Item Restricted THE IMPACT OF ELECTRONIC TRIALS ON THE RIGHTS OF THE ACCUSED: A COMPARATIVE STUDY BETWEEN JORDANIAN AND SAUDI LEGISLATION(Saudi Digital Library, 2026) ALANAZI, SAAD; THE IMPACT OF ELECTRONIC TRIALS ON THE RIGHTS OF THE ACCUSED: A COMPARATIVE STUDY BETWEEN JORDANIAN AND SAUDI LEGISLATIONالملخص تنبثق هذه الدراسة من التطور المتسارع الذي يشهده المرفق القضائي من التحول الرقمي حيث نسعى الى معالجة الإشكالية الجوهرية في مدى الضمانات التقليدية للمحاكمة العادلة.10 0
