Aim: This literature review aims to: - Assess the existing literature regarding the use of CBCT in decision making in surgical endodontics. - Determine if there is a sufficient quantity of data regarding this topic, and then conclude whether there is a need for further studies to be conducted.

Materials and Methods: An electronic search was conducted to evaluate the use of CBCT in decision making in surgical endodontic, using Ovid Midline database with other web databases such as Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews. All studies were evaluated to identify the eligibility based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The search was limited to articles written in the English language and were published from 1990 till July 2020.

Conclusion: Further clinical studies with appropriate controls for confounding factors need to be conducted to explore the significance of CBCT on decision making in surgical endodontics.
