Abstract

Aim: Visfatin and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) are implicated in obesity and diabetes. We hypothesized that elevated levels of visfatin and VEGF in spinal cord and adipose tissue in obesity are attributed to increase in the pain sensitivity.
