Exploring the Nature of the Challenges Faced by Middle Leaders in Saudi Public High Schools: Towards an Effective Middle Leadership
Abstract
The study is aimed at investigating the experience reality of the role of the Middle leader position in the Saudi Educational context. Also, it investigates the extent their role is considered important in schools. An interpretive approach to the research methodology has been used, in the form of interviews and their transcription and interpretation. The study aims to highlight the main challenges that Middle leaders face and how they overcome these challenges. Finally, the Middle leader’s future ambitions and their views and recommendations on the effective implementation and practice of Middle leadership are highlighted.
