| dc.description | The thesis aimed to study the role of miniature art in enriching the creative and storytelling aspect of expressive fashion, identify the most significant works of the most famous expressive fashion designers, To achieve these objectives, the study adopted a descriptive-analytical methodology combined with an applied approach, as it is well suited to the research aims. The study was conducted on a primary sample of (38) participants, distributed as follows: (22) specialists, defined as faculty members with expertise in the field of fashion design, and (16) consumers, defined as female performers in the performing arts, and innovate clothing designs by the style of miniature art to enrich the creative and storytelling aspect of expressive fashion. In addition, it aimed to measure the percentage of agreement among specialists on the innovative clothing designs by the style of miniature art for enriching the creative and storytelling aspect of expressive fashion and also measure the percentage of agreement among female consumers on the innovative clothing designs by the style of miniature art for enriching the creative and storytelling aspect of expressive fashion. Finally, it aimed to execute selected innovative clothing designs that received the highest scores from the research sample. The thesis was divided into four chapters as follows: Chapter One: Research Plan Chapter One contained: Introduction - Research Terms - Research Problem - Research Significance - Research Objectives - Research Boundaries - Previous Studies - Research Methodology and Procedures - Research Sample - Research Tools. Chapter Two: Theoretical Framework Chapter Two included two axes: Axis One: The Role of Miniature Art in Enriching the Creative and Storytelling Aspect of Expressive Fashion First: Miniature Art Second: Saudi Folk Stories Third: Expressive Fashion Axis Two: The Most Significant Works of the Most Famous Expressive Fashion Designers First: Fashion Designer Guo Pei Second: Fashion Designer Alexander McQueen Third: Fashion Designers Viktor & Rolf Fourth: Fashion Designer Iris Van Herpen Fifth: Fashion Designer Adnan Akbar Sixth: Fashion Designer Tima Abid Seventh: Fashion Designers Alia & Abeer Oraif Eighth: Fashion Designer Ghaydaa Majdaly Chapter Three: Applied Framework Chapter Three incorporated: First: Study Tools and Ensuring their Validity and Reliability. Second: Innovating clothing designs by the style of miniature art to enrich the creative and storytelling aspect of expressive fashion. Chapter Four: Results, Analysis – Interpretation Chapter Four included the answers to the theoretical and applied questions of the thesis, as illustrated below: Question One: What is the role of miniature art in enriching the creative and storytelling aspect of expressive fashion? The response to this question was addressed through the theoretical framework of the first axis in Chapter Two. This section examined the art of miniatures by exploring its definition, historical development, materials and tools, and execution techniques. It also analyzed the artistic and aesthetic characteristics, expressive connotations, and defining features of miniature art, in addition to its relationship with applied arts. Furthermore, it reviewed the most prominent schools associated with this art form, including—but not limited to—the Baghdad School, the Timurid School, the Herat School, the School of Behzad, the Safavid School, as well as the Turkish and Indian schools, The study also addressed Saudi folk tales by presenting an overview of their historical background, along with a discussion of the book Folk Tales from the Heart of the Arabian Peninsula, including selected narratives from this work. It further examined the characteristics of Saudi folk tales, the features of narrative illustration, and the significance of these tales in enhancing the creative and storytelling dimensions of expressive fashion design, At the conclusion of the first axis, the study explored expressive fashion by discussing its concept, importance, objectives, artistic and aesthetic characteristics, and the fundamental principles underlying its design. Finally, it highlighted the creative and narrative aspects inherent in expressive fashion design. Second Question: What are the most significant works of the most famous expressive fashion designers? The response to this question was addressed through the theoretical framework of the second axis in Chapter Two. This section examined prominent expressive fashion designers at both the international and Arab levels by reviewing selected works and analyzing the general characteristics of their designs. The axis included leading designers such as Guo Pei, Alexander McQueen, Viktor & Rolf, Iris van Herpen, Adnan Akbar, Tima Abid, Alia and Abeir Aref, and Ghaidaa Majdali, Accordingly, the second axis highlights the comprehensive nature of expressive fashion as an art form that integrates concept, emotion, symbolism, and technique. This is demonstrated through the analysis of the works of a distinguished group of designers who have embodied this approach through diverse artistic and philosophical visions. Third Question: What is the possibility of innovating clothing designs by the style of miniature art to enrich the creative and storytelling aspect of expressive fashion? The response was articulated within the applied framework presented in Chapter Three of the thesis, wherein the researcher developed fifteen expressive theatrical costume designs. These designs were illustrated using the Procreate software, following the selection of fifteen narratives—one for each miniature—and the depiction of their corresponding narrative scenes. Fourth Question: What is the percentage of agreement among specialists on the innovative clothing designs by the style of miniature art for enriching the creative and storytelling aspect of expressive fashion? The findings were derived by calculating the aggregate evaluations of specialists regarding the innovative costume designs inspired by the miniature art style, with the aim of enhancing both the creative and narrative dimensions of expressive fashion in achieving the aesthetic and functional aspects. The results indicated that Design No. (4) attained the highest quality coefficient (97.7), followed by Design No. (10) with a quality coefficient of (96.9), and then Design No. (1) with a quality coefficient of (95.5), all of which represent outstanding quality levels. In contrast, the quality coefficients for the remaining designs ranged from (94.8) to (84.2), reflecting good quality levels. Accordingly, Designs No. (4), (10), and (1) achieved the highest quality coefficients, respectively. Fifth Question: What is the percentage of agreement among female consumers on the innovative clothing designs by the style of miniature art for enriching the creative and storytelling aspect of expressive fashion? The findings were derived by calculating the aggregate evaluations of consumers regarding the innovative costume designs inspired by the miniature art style, aimed at enriching the creative and narrative dimensions of expressive fashion. The results revealed that the most preferred design was Design No. (1), while the least preferred was Design No. (14). Design No. (1) achieved the highest quality coefficient (97.2), followed by Design No. (4) with a coefficient of (96.5), and Design No. (10) with a coefficient of (95.1), Furthermore, the concordance ranking of the designs, based on the perspectives of both specialists and consumers, demonstrated a high level of agreement, with Designs No. (1), (4), and (10) occupying the top positions. Additionally, the Pearson correlation coefficient between the rankings of specialists and consumers reached (0.942), which is statistically significant at the (0.01) level, indicating a strong alignment between the evaluations of specialists and consumers. Sixth Question: What is the possibility of executing selections of the innovative clothing designs by the style of miniature art that received the highest results from the research sample to enrich the creative and storytelling aspect of expressive clothing? The response was realized through the implementation of three costume designs that achieved the highest evaluation scores among the study sample. Materials were selected in accordance with the nature of each design, and patterns were developed using the Gerber (Gerber) software based on standardized measurements. The scenes inspired by miniature art were applied using digital sublimation printing techniques, alongside the manual assembly of certain elements using specialized stitching, This was followed by the precise assembly of the garment components through sewing, in alignment with pre-defined markings. Final finishing processes were then carried out, including pressing, securing, and reinforcing the decorative elements. The designs were subsequently displayed on a full-length mannequin in front, side, and back views to highlight the integration of structural and decorative aspects, The executed designs demonstrated the achievement of the research objectives in terms of the practical and aesthetic application of miniature art as an integrated approach that enriches the creative and narrative dimensions of expressive fashion. The technical files of the implemented designs include: technical specifications, design, flat design, measurements, patterns, raw materials, preparation and sewing processes, packaging, and documentation through photography of the final designs. Recommendations: • Employ miniature art as a primary source of inspiration in the design of expressive fashion, given its rich aesthetic and narrative values that contribute to enhancing the visual and storytelling dimensions of costume presentation. • Emphasize the integration of artificial intelligence applications and advanced digital illustration software into future curricula of fashion and textile departments, in order to keep pace with global technological advancements in accelerating design innovation and development, while maintaining the designer’s role in directing these technologies to preserve cultural authenticity. • Encourage academic bodies and cultural institutions to document and archive the works of contemporary Saudi designers through peer-reviewed publications and scholarly compendiums, thereby strengthening local academic content and providing reliable research references that support scholars and designers in exploring modern design trends and linking them to national identity. • Incorporate topics related to visual arts—particularly miniature art—into fashion design curricula, to foster students’ creative visual thinking and enhance the integration between art and clothing as a comprehensive expressive medium. • Support the organization of specialized workshops and exhibitions in expressive theatrical fashion, with the aim of promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and opening new avenues for both artistic and scientific experimentation. • Activate partnerships between colleges of arts and design and the Theatre and Performing Arts Commission, as well as drama production entities, to develop expressive costumes grounded in documented academic research, ensuring high-quality visual representation of Saudi identity in international forums. | |
| dc.description.abstract | هدفت الرسالة إلى دراسة دور فن المنمنمات في إثراء الجانب الإبداعي والقصصي في الأزياء التعبيرية، وتحديد أهم أعمال أشهر مصممي الأزياء التعبيرية، ولتحقيق ذلك اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي مع الدراسة التطبيقية لملاءمتها لأهداف البحث، وطبقت على عينة أساسية عددها (38) مفردة قسمت كالتالي: المتخصصين عددهم (22) ويقصد بهم الأساتذة المتخصصين في مجال تصميم الأزياء، والمستهلكات عددهن (16) ويقصد بهن ممثلات الفنون الادائية، كما تضمنت الدراسة ابتكار تصميمات ملبسيه بأسلوب فن المنمنمات لإثراء الجانب الإبداعي والقصصي في الأزياء التعبيرية، بالإضافة إلى قياس نسبة اتفاق المتخصصين للتصميمات الملبسيه المبتكرة بأسلوب فن المنمنمات لإثراء الجانب الإبداعي والقصصي في الأزياء التعبيرية، وقياس نسبة اتفاق المستهلكات للتصميمات الملبسيه المبتكرة بأسلوب فن المنمنمات لإثراء الجانب الإبداعي والقصصي في الأزياء التعبيرية، وتنفيذ عدد (3) من التصميمات الملبسيه المبتكرة والتي حصلت على أعلى النتائج من قبل عينة البحث، وقد قسمت الرسالة إلى أربعة فصول كما يلي: الفصل الأول: خطة البحث المقدمة- مصطلحات البحث- مشكلة البحث- أهمية البحث- اهداف البحث- حدود البحث- الدراسات والبحوث السابقة- منهج البحث واجراءاته- عينة البحث- أدوات البحث. الفصل الثاني: الإطار النظري: ويشمل على: المحور الرابع: النتائج، تحليلها – تفسيرها: تمثلت في الإجابة على التساؤلات التي حددت المشكلة وحققت الأهداف للرسالة، كما هو موضح: التساؤل الأول: ما دور فن المنمنمات في إثراء الجانب الإبداعي والقصصي في الأزياء التعبيرية؟ تمثلت الإجابة من خلال الإطار النظري للمحور الأول في الفصل الثاني، وتم فيه دراسة كل من "فن المنمنمات" من خلال التطرق لكل من تعريف فن المنمنمات، تاريخ فن المنمنمات، الخامات والأدوات وتقنيات التنفيذ في فن المنمنمات، الخصائص الفنية والجمالية والدلالات التعبيرية لفن المنمنمات، وسمات فن المنمنمات، والعلاقة بين فن المنمنمات والفنون التطبيقية، وأهم المدارس التي اشتهرت بفن المنمنمات على سبيل المثال لا الحصر: (المدرسة البغدادية، والتيمورية، وهراة، ومدرسة بهزاد، والمدرسة الصفوية، والتركية، والهندية)، كما تم التطرق إلى "القصص الشعبية السعودية" من خلال استعراض تاريخ القصص الشعبية السعودية، بالإضافة لكتاب (أساطير شعبية من قلب جزيرة العرب)، ومختارات قصصية من كتاب أساطير شعبية من قلب جزيرة العرب، وخصائص القصة الشعبية السعودية، وسمات التصوير القصصي، وأهمية القصص الشعبية السعودية في تنمية الجانب الإبداعي والقصصي في الأزياء التعبيرية، وفي نهاية المحور الأول تم دراسة كل من "الأزياء التعبيرية" والتطرق لكل من مفهوم الأزياء التعبيرية، أهمية الأزياء التعبيرية، أهداف الأزياء التعبيرية، والخصائص الفنية والجمالية للأزياء التعبيرية، وأسس تصميم الأزياء التعبيرية، وأخيراً الجانب الإبداعي والقصصي في الأزياء التعبيرية. التساؤل الثاني: ما أهم أعمال أشهر مصممي الأزياء التعبيرية؟ تمثلت الإجابة من خلال الإطار النظري للمحور الثاني في الفصل الثاني، اذ تم فيه تناول أشهر مصممي الأزياء التعبيرية على المستويين العالمي والعربي، من خلال استعراض أبرز أعمالهم وتحليل السمات العامة لتصميماتهم، حيث اشتمل المحور على أبرز مصممي الأزياء:"جو باي، ألكسندر ماكوين، فيكتور ورولف، آيرس فان هيربن، عدنان أكبر، تيما عابد، عليا وعبير عريف، غيداء مجدلي"، وبذلك يُبرز المحور الثاني شمولية مفهوم الأزياء التعبيرية باعتبارها فن يجمع بين الفكرة والمشاعر والرمز والتقنية، من خلال تحليل أعمال نخبة من المصممين الذين جسدوا هذا الاتجاه عبر رؤى فنية وفلسفية متنوعة. التساؤل الثالث: ما إمكانية ابتكار تصميمات ملبسيه بأسلوب فن المنمنمات لإثراء الجانب الإبداعي والقصصي في الأزياء التعبيرية؟ تمثلت الإجابة من خلال الإطار التطبيقي في الفصل الثالث بالرسالة؛ حيث قامت الباحثة بابتكار عدد 15 تصميم لأزياء مسرحية تعبيرية، ورسم التصميمات باستخدام برنامج بروكرييت "Procreate"، من خلال تحديد 15قصة لكل منمنمة ورسم المشهد القصصي المخصص لها. التساؤل الرابع: ما نسبة اتفاق المتخصصين للتصميمات الملبسيه المبتكرة بأسلوب فن المنمنمات لإثراء الجانب الإبداعي والقصصي في الأزياء التعبيرية؟ تمثلت الإجابة من خلال حساب مجموع تقييمات المتخصصين للتصميمات الملبسيه المبتكرة بأسلوب فن المنمنمات لإثراء الجانب الإبداعي والقصصي في الأزياء التعبيرية في تحقيق "الجانب الجمالي، الجانب والوظيفي"، واتضح أن التصميم رقم (4) حقق اعلي معامل جودة "97.7"، يليه التصميم رقم (10) بمعامل جودة "96.9"، يليهم التصميم رقم (1) بمعامل جودة "95.5"، وهي تمثل نسب جودة متميزة، بينما تراوح معامل الجودة لباقي التصميمات من "94.8" الي "84.2" وهي تمثل نسب جودة جيدة، وقد حققت التصميمات رقم (4، 10، 1) أعلى معاملات للجودة على التوالي. التساؤل الخامس: ما نسبة اتفاق المستهلكات للتصميمات الملبسيه المبتكرة بأسلوب فن المنمنمات لإثراء الجانب الإبداعي والقصصي في الأزياء التعبيرية؟ تمثلت الإجابة من خلال حساب مجموع تقييمات المستهلكات للتصميمات الملبسيه المبتكرة بأسلوب فن المنمنمات لإثراء الجانب الإبداعي والقصصي في الأزياء التعبيرية، واتضح أن أفضل التصميمات الملبسيه المبتكرة بأسلوب فن المنمنمات لإثراء الجانب الإبداعي والقصصي في الأزياء التعبيرية "التصميم: رقم (1)"، وأقل التصميمات الملبسيه المبتكرة بأسلوب فن المنمنمات لإثراء الجانب الإبداعي والقصصي في الأزياء التعبيرية "التصميم: رقم (14)"؛ حيث إن التصميم رقم (1) حقق أعلى معامل جودة "97.2"، يليه التصميم رقم (4) بمعامل جودة "96.5"، يليهم التصميم رقم (10) بمعامل جودة "95.1"، وأظهر الترتيب التوافقي للتصميمات وفق آراء كل من المتخصصين والمستهلكات درجة عالية من الأنسجام؛ حيث تصدر التصميمات (1، 4، 10) المراكز الأولى، كما أن قيمة معامل ارتباط بيرسون بين ترتيب المتخصصين والمستهلكات للتصميمات الملبسيه المبتكرة بأسلوب فن المنمنمات لإثراء الجانب الإبداعي والقصصي في الأزياء التعبيرية بلغت "0.942"، وهي قيمة دالة عند مستوى "0.01"؛ مما يشير الي أن هناك توافق بين تقييم المتخصصين والمستهلكات. التساؤل السادس: ما إمكانية تنفيذ مختارات من التصميمات الملبسيه المبتكرة بأسلوب فن المنمنمات لإثراء الجانب الإبداعي والقصصي في الأزياء التعبيرية والتي حصلت على أعلى النتائج من قبل عينة البحث؟ تمثلت الإجابة بتنفيذ ثلاثة من التصميمات الملبسية التي حصلت على أعلى نسب تقييم من قبل عينة البحث، وتم اختيار الخامات بما يتناسب مع طبيعة كل تصميم، ورسمت الباترونات باستخدام برنامج جربر (Grber) وفق المقاسات القياسية المحددة، وتم تطبيق المشاهد المستوحاة من فن المنمنمات باستخدام تقنيات الطباعة الرقمية السبلميشن (Sublimation)، والتركيب اليدوي لبعض العناصر بالغرز المخصصة، وتلت المرحلة تجميع الأجزاء بالحياكة الدقيقة وفق العلامات المحددة مسبقاً، وأُجريت اللمسات النهائية من كي وتثبيت وتدعيم للزخارف، ثم عُرضت التصميمات على مانيكان كامل الطول في وضعية أمامية وجانبية وخلفية لإبراز تكامل الشكل البنائي والزخرفي، وقد أظهرت التصميمات المنفذة تحقق أهداف البحث من حيث إمكانية تطبيق أسلوب فن المنمنمات بصورة عملية وجمالية متكاملة تسهم في إثراء الجانب الإبداعي والقصصي في الأزياء التعبيرية، وتشمل الملفات التقنية للتصاميم المنفذة على كل من: (المواصفات الفنية، التصميم، التصميم المسطح، القياسات، الباترون، المواد الخام، التجهيز والحياكة، التغليف، تصوير التصميم المنفذ). التوصيات: - توظيف فن المنمنمات كمصدر إلهام رئيسي في تصميم الأزياء التعبيرية؛ لما يمتاز به من قيم جمالية وسردية تسهم في إثراء الجانب القصصي والبصري للعرض الملبسي. - ضرورة إدراج تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي وبرامج الرسم الرقمي المتقدمة ضمن الخطط الدراسية القادمة لأقسام الأزياء والنسيج؛ لمواكبة التطور التقني العالمي في سرعة ابتكار التصميمات وتطويرها، مع التأكيد على دور المصمم في توجيه هذه التقنيات لخدمة الأصالة التراثية. - حث الجهات العلمية والمؤسسات الثقافية المعنية على رصد وتوثيق نتاج المصممين السعوديين المعاصرين ضمن إصدارات وموسوعات علمية محكمة؛ لتعزيز المحتوى الأكاديمي المحلي وتوفير مراجع بحثية رصينة تدعم الباحثين والمصممين في دراسة الاتجاهات التصميمية الحديثة وربطها بالهوية الوطنية. - إدراج موضوعات الفنون التشكيلية، وخاصة فن المنمنمات، ضمن مناهج تعليم تصميم الأزياء لتنمية قدرات الطلبة على التفكير البصري الإبداعي والربط بين الفن والملبس كوسيط تعبيري متكامل. - دعم إقامة ورش عمل ومعارض تخصصية للأزياء المسرحية التعبيرية، بهدف تعزيز التفاعل بين التخصصات الأخرى ومصممي الأزياء، وفتح آفاق جديدة للتجريب الفني والعلمي المشترك. - تفعيل الشراكات بين كليات الفنون والتصميم وبين هيئة المسرح والفنون الأدائية وجهات الإنتاج الدرامي؛ لتقديم أزياء تعبيرية مستمدة من دراسات أكاديمية موثقة، بما يضمن جودة التمثيل البصري للهوية السعودية في المحافل الدولية. | |
