dc.description.abstract | This article seeks to critically analyse the idea of hate speech taking into consideration different legal definitions of the matter and various laws of hate speech. In regard to the laws, this article seeks to identify the extent to which they are sufficient and the effect of hate speech ban on freedom of expression. Furthermore, other strategies towards deterring hate speech, which include education, awareness, and creating an understanding society and how the danger of hate speech can be reduced through banning freedom speech. Finally, the study will be summarised in a brief conclusion. | |
