Abstract

In radiography education, challenges in real world settings such as radiation risk, patient safety and productivity requirements reduce practical training opportunities for students. To overcome this, simulations which offer students safe real-life or virtual environment learning opportunities are used. Recently, computed tomography (CT) simulation software has been incorporated into a radiography programme in a university in Saudi Arabia. This study explored the students’ perceptions of using CT simulation software and its influence on their learning.
