Abstract
The study aimed to identify the nature of the relationship between human resource
management practices and institutional excellence, in addition to demonstrating the
effect of the moderating role of organizational flexibility on the existing relationship
between them. This was applied to a sample of 407 individuals working in the Ministry
of Sports in the Riyadh region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study reached
several results, the most important of which is the presence of a significant correlation
between the dimensions of each of the human resource management practices,
organizational flexibility and institutional excellence, as well as the presence of a
significant effect of human resource management practices on the dimensions of
institutional excellence, and the presence of a significant effect of the dimensions of
organizational flexibility on the dimensions of institutional excellence. Finally, it
became clear that there is a significant effect of the dimensions of organizational
flexibility on the relationship between human resource management practices and
institutional excellence among the employees of the ministry.
