dc.description.abstractThis dissertation aims to investigate the English translation of Al-Nawawi’s Forty Hadiths which is translated by Jamal Ahmed Badi. This study examines the translation strategies that are frequently used in translating Al-Nawawi’s Forty Hadiths and it concentrates on cultural-religious issues in translation. It highlights the problem of translation loss, arising from the use of different translation strategies in the translation of Al-Nawawi's Forty Hadiths
