Item Restricted Evaluation of Senior Management Practices in Dealing with Early Warning of Crises and Health Epidemics: An Applied Study on the Health Cluster in Makkah Al-Mukarramah(Saudi Digital Library, 2026) ِALHARBI, WALEED; Abdel Naby, MostafaThe research aims to identify the relationship between the dimensions of Senior Management Practices (strategic orientation, human capital, ethical practices, organizational control, organizational culture, core competencies) and the dimensions of the early warning system for crises and health epidemics (risk knowledge, monitoring and control, information sharing, preparedness and response capabilities). The Data was collected through a questionnaire consisting of 63 items to gather primary data from a sample of 327 employees in the health cluster in Mecca. The SPSS program was used to analyze research data, survey questions, and research hypotheses. Validity and reliability tests were conducted using Cronbach's alpha to ensure the accuracy of the questionnaire and internal consistency and reliability. Descriptive statistics, including mean and standard deviation, were used to determine the characteristics and trends of the study sample. Research hypotheses were tested using Pearson correlation coefficient, multiple linear regression, Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wells test. The research results indicated that Senior Management Practices have a significant and positive impact on risk knowledge, monitoring and control, information sharing, and preparedness and response capabilities. The results also showed no differences in respondents' answers regarding the level of application of Senior Management Practices attributed to demographic characteristics (gender, age, educational qualification, years of experience) of employees in the health cluster in Mecca, and differences in respondents' answers regarding the level of application of Senior Management Practices attributed to the administrative level. Additionally, no differences were found in respondents' answers regarding the level of application of the early warning system for crises and health epidemics attributed to demographic characteristics (gender, age, educational qualification, years of experience) of employees in the health cluster in Mecca, and differences in respondents' answers regarding the level of application of the early warning system for crises and health epidemics attributed to the administrative level.7 0
