Item Restricted The Role of Administrative Empowerment Practices in Achieving Organizational Development in Governmental Hospitals in Jeddah(Saudi Digital Library, 2026) Alzahrani, Ahmed Ibrahim; Abdelfattah, NeamaAbstract This study aimed to identify the role of administrative empowerment practice in its dimensions (delegation of authority, participation in decision-making, motivation, work teams, training) in achieving organizational development in its dimensions (organizational structure, organizational culture) in governmental hospitals in Jeddah Governorate. The study used the descriptive analytical approach, and data were collected through a questionnaire tool. The study population consisted of employees in government hospitals in Jeddah Governorate, whose number at the time of conducting the study was (11,284) employees at various levels and job titles. A sample size of (400) employees was selected by using the Stephen Thompson equation, and the data were analyzed using the statistical analysis program (SPSS) using a number of appropriate statistical methods. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: the existence of a statistically significant relationship at a significance level (α≤ 0.05) between administrative empowerment in its combined dimensions and organizational development in its dimensions (organizational structure, organizational culture) in governmental hospitals in Jeddah Governorate. There are no statistically significant differences in the average responses of sample members towards (administrative empowerment - organizational development) in government hospitals in Jeddah Governorate according to the variable (age - academic qualification - job title - years of experience). The study presented a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: It is necessary to work on activating the system of material and moral incentives in government hospitals in Jeddah Governorate, so that it is characterized by diversity, justice, and objectivity, in order to raise their sense of belonging towards the organization and the impact that this has on organizational development events, as well as the necessity of expanding the involvement of employees in decision-making by benefiting from their opinions, experiences, and ideas, which enhances their sense of empowerment, which contributes to achieving organizational development..1 0
