Item Restricted صورة الطبيعة في شعر العقاد: دراسة موضوعية فنية(Aswan University, 2025) Alashiekh , Mohammad Abdalaziz A; Abdelzaher, FaridThe thesis consists of five chapters, with an introduction, a conclusion and suggestions. the introduction : The researcher talked about the subject, explaining the nature of this school and its most important poets and their role in literary and critical life, especially Abbas Mahmoud Al-Akkad. He also talked about the reasons for choosing the subject, as well as the time and place of the study, which is the modern era, while the place is Egypt, the source of civilization. He also talked about the size of the scientific material and its sources, which are Al-Akkad’s collections of poems, and also the method of listing sources and references. He mentions the author’s name first, then the name of the book, then the printing press, and the date, year and place of publication. Then the researcher stood before the method followed for the thesis, speaking briefly about the methods of literary and critical studies, relying on the integrative method of research because of the great importance of this method in the subject. The researcher also talked about the difficulties he faced in the research and how to overcome them, which is obtaining Al-Aqqad’s collections of poems. As for the most important main research points: Chapter One and its title "Literary image": In it, the researcher talked about the image and its concept in terms of wording, terminology and concept. The second chapter and its title "Al-Aqqad, a poet and thinker": The researcher talked about Al-Aqqad’s upbringing, the nature of the ego and its effects on him, and he also talked about his writings and the concept of poetry in his view. As for the third chapter, its title is "Living nature in Al-Aqqad's poetry": The researcher stood in front of nature in the Holy Quran and the Prophetic Hadith, in addition to the image of nature in the past through poetry. The main aspect in this chapter came where the researcher stood in front of multiple topics such as flowers, spring, birds, the sky and its planets through Al-Aqqad’s poetry, and he found a difference in each poem that indicates his status and creativity. As for the fourth chapter, its title is "Still life in Al-Aqqad's poetry": In it, the researcher talked about the still life, including the desert and Egyptian antiquities, winter and summer, where we saw Al-Aqqad’s interest in the Aswan environment, which was reflected in him. He stood in front of Aswan, talking about it in a poem entitled “Aswan,” through which his love for his town, his apparent fanaticism for it, his interest and passion for it, appeared. He explained to us the beauty of Aswan, with what it contained of antiquities and beautiful nature. As for the fifth chapter, its title is "Poetic music and artistic readings of some of Al-Aqqad's poems": In this chapter, the researcher talked about internal and external music, as it appeared clearly in some of his poems such as Al-Karawan, A Stop in the Desert, the poem “The Intimacy of Existence,” “Oh Moon,” “The Carnation Flower,” and others. All of this indicates Al-Aqqad’s status and his creativity in nature, which appeared in his poems. Through Al-Aqqad’s poetry of nature, we saw the clear and deep sense in a beautiful and clear language, in which there was skill and mastery. He controlled the words and phrases in a new style, highlighting his social and national sense. His poetry was an honest image from the depths of his soul. He was like an artist who combined tenderness and compassion, the strength of emotion, reason and will. He lived in his thought and philosophy the three times: the past with its strength and steadfastness, the present with what was in his time and its contemporaneity, and the future with the strength of his perception, expectations and strong poeticism. Al-Aqqad's heritage still contains many, many topics in all research aspects, as well as a fertile field for critics, writers and men of letters, as his poetic production, and the research found that Al-Aqqad is sometimes long-winded in a poem, so the poem for him is composed of several sections and achieves the desired purpose for him; and sometimes he is short-winded, so the poem contains two, three or four verses for him, and achieves the same purpose as the large poem, so he is familiar with all aspects of poetry, from long to short. There are some suggestions that must be mentioned, which are: - Reopening of Al-Aqqad’s literary salon, and introducing his works and life. - Establishing a scientific chair in Al-Aqqad’s name, sponsored by Aswan University. - Reprinting, verifying and paying wide attention to Al-Aqqad’s poetry collections. - Establishing poetry competitions bearing Al-Aqqad’s name, whether for young people or adults. - The interest of the audio and visual media in poets.23 0
